The apartment had a distribution that was very common in the '60s: the typical grandmother's house with a long hallway leading to a living room, a small separate kitchen, a single bathroom, large bedrooms.
From reading the details, the existing fine materials, and thanks to the designer's and client's desire to create a link with the past, there was a refined preservation of the finishes, but with a sharp denunciation of contemporary living needs: the living area expands and radiates with new light, the floors are recovered, moved and combined with new finishes.
